Mike Spokas

Animator

Mike Spokas' career began in 1996 with a BFA in Computer Animation from Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. Upon graduation, Mike was offered a job at DreamWorks Feature Animation and before he knew it, he was driving out to California. He worked at DreamWorks for seven years doing Computer Generated Character Animation and had his hands in nearly all of their animated films from The Prince of Egypt to Sinbad. After DreamWorks, Mike decided to relocate back to Florida, (supposedly, he just loves palmetto bugs and humidity), where he worked at Disney Feature Animation doing CG character rigging and animation. Currently, Mike still resides in the sunshine state, but through the miracles of high-speed Internet, he is working as GeeGuides' Lead CG character animator. Actually, he's the only CG animator.
