GeeGuides is participating in on-going research and development in concert with educational consultants, schools and major art museums. During our research, we are testing the GeeGuides program in schools and museums and are gathering feedback from children, teachers and museum educators. We are also holding roundtable discussions with educators to learn about their ideas for the GeeGuides program. Some of the participating consultants are: Dr. Marianna Adams, Institute of Learning Innovations, Colleen Manning, Senior Research Associate of Goodman Research Group, and Troy Smythe of Smythe Consulting. Some of the participating museums are: the Seattle Art Museum, Seattle, Washington, the Vancouver Art Gallery, Vancouver, British Colombia, and the Jack S. Blanton Museum, Austin, Texas. Multiple elementary schools in those respective areas were also involved in the research.
