geeART16 Featuring Corel Painter Essentials 3

Ruby, the penguin

Hi artists, friends and fans!

Ruby here!! I wanted to take this opportunity to talk to you about doART! The geeART16's art activities provide you with all the tools, knowledge and inspiration to help you use art just like the masters did -- as a form of expression. You can tell a story, capture a moment in time, share an emotion…whatever you want to do! It’s your choice. Plus, you can spend as much time as you want playing with the many art creation options available in each lesson. Choose from oodles of traditional art options, like drawing with pencils, cutting images into paper or playing with paints. Or you can choose to explore digital art activities using your Painter Essentials software.

Corel’s easy-to-use, digital paint program is highly realistic, allowing you to mix paints and work them as they dry. Digital paint? That’s right! With Painter Essentials, you can now create art right on your computer. Corel brings the latest and greatest to digital painting. You can choose different brushes, pencils, chalks, acrylics, oils and even watercolors, which react as they really would on different surfaces. You’ll love the undo feature! With just a click of the mouse, you can erase and try again. And we just know your parents and teachers will love the no-mess aspect.

Tickles Birthday!

After learning about digital art, and much practice, I captured a fun memory from Tickle’s most recent birthday party using my Corel digital paint program! It was so much fun to learn how to use Corel and I can share my artwork with family and friends, right here on my computer.

I would love to see the artwork you create using Corel. Send your digital artworks to me directly at ruby@geeguides.com, and I’ll share them with the whole GeeGuides’ family. Keep checking back to see your digital art creations, as we plan to share as much artwork created by GeeGuides’ artists as we can, right here on our website.

Now, off you go! I’ll be waiting to see what you come up with.
